Boosting
In Shop Heroes when you donate gold to building to give you boosts. You get a instant boost and a short duration boost lasting 30 minutes. Each additional boost will give you the instant boost plus it will add another 30 minutes on to the boost timer. Boost timers is capped at 24 hours. Buildings with a boost will be glowing blue.
