Affinity

Item affinity tells you how well a hero uses // how much a hero likes to use a certain item. Also the better the affinity the greater the range of items that hero can use as optimal equipment to get the optimal set bonus.

  • Note: Weapons affinity can range from yellow affinity (best) to dark grey affinity (worst); armors & accessories have either white or light grey affinity.

Yellow: (Example: Staves (Yellow))

Since the February 2016 patch, yellow affinity toward an item shows that it is the hero's preferred item. When equipping a hero with an item of yellow affinity it will decrease the chance of the item breaking during a quest.

  • Optimal range is items whose level is within 7 of the hero's level.
  • This affinity can now be referred to as the "best-in-slot" affinity

White: (Example: Spears (White))

White affinity toward an item shows that the hero doesn't mind using said item, but would still prefer something better. When equipping a hero with an item of white affinity, it will slightly increase the chance of the item breaking during a quest.

  • Optimal range is items whose level is within 6 of the hero's level.

Light grey: (Example: Guns (Grey))

Light grey affinity toward an item shows that the hero really doesn't like using said item and would much prefer something better. When equipping a hero with an item of light grey affinity, it will highly increase the chance of the item breaking during a quest.

Dark grey: (Example: Swords (DGrey) Dark grey is even worse than light grey. When equipping a hero with an item of dark grey affinity, the chance of the item breaking during a quest increases even more.
